We are a full service family practice treating patients of all ages. We are proud to serve Frankston and the surrounding areas and strive for compassion and understanding in all aspects of care. We offer a comprehensive range of dental services, from routine cleanings and general dentistry to cosmetic and restorative treatments, all with a focus on your comfort and long-term oral health.
Meet the Doctor
Dr. Kyle Halberstadt
Dr. Kyle Halberstadt grew up in East Texas. After receiving his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from UT Tyler and A&M Commerce, he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, which is consistently ranked among the top dental schools in the United States. After graduation, he worked in dental offices in Tyler and Dallas but wanted to return to his roots in East Texas. He has received additional training in oral sedation, implant placement and restoration, and mini implants for denture stabilization. He has also pursued training in facial esthetic procedures with RF, laser, dermal fillers, Botox, and thread lifts.

Shelbi Joy - Dental Hygienist
Dental Hygienist
Shelbi Joy has been a part of Frankston Dentistry since 2006. She received her AAS in Dental Hygiene in 2002 and her BSDH in 2018. When not working here, she works at Tyler Junior College School of Dental Hygiene as an adjunct Clinical Professor.
Shelbi has been married to her husband, Chris, since 2007. They have two children, Aniston and Jager. She loves to spend time with family and friends and also supporting her kids when they participate in their favorite extracurricular activities. When she is not with family, she enjoys working out or reading a good book.
Maranda Alonzo
Dental Hygienist
Maranda was born and raised in East Texas. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from TJC. She has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 14 years and has experience in both pediatric and general dentistry. She and her husband live in Bullard and have two children, Emeri and Gavin. When not running kids to extracurricular activities, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
Patty Garcia
Dental Assistant
Patty has been with Frankston Dentistry since 2020 after completing her studies at Tyler Junior College. She loves helping her patients and seeing them leave with happy and confident smiles. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her free time.
Jamie Burris
Office Manager
Jamie has lived in Frankston most of her life. She worked as an assistant for 16 years before taking over as office manager in 2020. Her favorite part of the job is seeing patients regain the confidence to smile!
Kinsy Matthews
Dental Assistant
Kinsy has lived in Frankston since 2007. She joined Frankston Family Dentistry in 2023 after completing Dental Assisting school. She loves giving people the chance to love their smile.
